The Diocesan Council welcomes you to the website of the Diocese of Auckland. The Diocese covers the area stretching from North Cape down to the Waikato River, across the Hauraki Plains and including the Coromandel Peninsula.
Within this area you will find over 90 Anglican parishes, mission districts and Local Shared Ministry Units. In addition there are many associated agencies such as City Mission, Anglican Trust for Women and Children and Selwyn Foundation. Anglican clergy serve as chaplains in schools, hospitals, prisons, universities and military establishments.
None of these ministry units and other organisations would be able to operate without the thousands of hours given so freely by volunteers.
We hope the website provides you with the information you need.
