As a Mission District we are under the direct jurisdiction of the Bishop, the Rt Rev. John Paterson through his appointed Priest in Charge, the Rev. Claire Stewart. Services are led by the Priest in Charge, visiting ordained ministers or the two resident licensed lay ministers, Rodney and Frances Denham.

As a small, mainly elderly, congregation without the full-time support of any resident ordained minister, we strive to maintain continuity of worship with at least two regular Sunday services a month. Our witness is necessarily most apparent in our individual interaction with the community through the many groups in which we are active, and in hospitality to visitors of which there is a steady stream, both from New Zealand and overseas.

Our one strength is the developing close cooperation with the congregations and leadership of St Andrew's Union Church and St Colman's Roman Catholic Parish.
